[Honestly the last thing Blue expects is to wake up in a new world...

When she last fell asleep she had been in her wolf form huddle for warmth with the others and now, blinks awake to something more jarring. Jumping up with a startle she looks around mouth open...she was in some kind of town, she can gather as much, with a fountain and people...staring at her. Blue eyes locking onto them she gazing around before she trots off into the closest alleyway. She doesn't need to be attacked right now...

Once alone she returns to a human image and peaks out of the alley, for people that watched a dog enter and now a human to come out it might seem strange but she tries to play it off. Holding her collar tight to her neck she tries to avoid eye contact as she fiddles with the new necklace on her.]

When did I even get this?

[Her face scrunching into a confused frown she looks around. She needs to find her pack...she needs to find Hige. Walking a little faster she tries to scan over anyone she sees for the familiar face she was looking for...for any familiar faces.]

[ Well it's a good thing Hige is here already, and he's in the vicinity. He recognizes her scent before he even sees her — he's got the best nose around, you know. And his reaction to it is immediate, perking up, while gasping her name under his breath. If this is another trick by this place, he's going to be a thousand levels of angry — but the possibility of it being her goes far beyond anything else.

So he immediately starts following that scent, until he spots her from behind, a little ways down the street. ]

Blue?!

[ He can only really think to say her name right now, this is too much. ]

[Blue's sense of smell has nothing on Hige's, so it's no surprise when the other gets her scent first. It doesn't take long before she sniffs at the air and smells the other just as quickly. Perking up, she looks around for the other then she hears her name. All at once she feels a wave of relief rushing over her as she stares at him.]

Hige!

[He looks really out of it...is he okay?]

Where are we?

[ He's fine, now that he has her here with him. He's very quick to move towards her once she calls his name, rushing up to her and wrapping his arms around her in a hug. What can he say? He's happy to see her, beyond words. ]

Does that really matter right now? You're here!

[ With him, and that's all that matters to him, really. Who cares where this is, as long as they're together. ]

[The hug wasn't completely expected but she doesn't reject it. Instead she hugs him back, burying her face into the crook of his neck. It feels good to be in his arms but he seems a little...off? Especially with that answer. Pulling back for a moment she looks at him.]

It does matter! Where the hell is this place?

[Blue looks at him intensely, she needs to know what's happening.]

[ Well, unfortunately, he's not much of an expert here, so that's not the easiest question for him to answer anyway. He's too overwhelmed with her being here right now to care much about where they are. It's not Paradise, so there's no need to get excited about something like that. But he's not entirely sure how he died and came here, either. ]

I'm not all that sure of the specifics yet, actually. People keep telling me it's some other world, but that sounds crazy, right? I mean, we ...

[ You know, died. It's almost like this is some weird second chance at life, that at least Hige doesn't feel he personally deserves (Blue, on the other hand, does deserve it). ]

[Blue wasn't sure what was happening at all here. One moment they were in the snow together back home and now...they were here. She wishes it wasn't a blur but she's pretty sure it isn't paradise, she wasn't sure she could even go there herself anyway?]

...Another world? I mean...it looks nothing like home but...another world?

[Reaching for his hand, she holds it as a kind of reassurance for the moment. She isn't sure what's happening.]

We...should probably not be in the open though?

Takes a while to believe, huh?

[ He's not even sure he believes it yet. And he still can't help but smile, despite the weight of the reunion and the odd subject matter of the conversation. He appreciates her gesture nonetheless, and his smile softens. ]

Yeah. Wanna go someplace quiet?

[ So they can talk a little easier. ]

[There were a lot of questions she wants to ask but she can read the mood too...Hige seems to have missed her, but she isn't sure why? For now she just goes with this and nods.]

Yeah, that would be for the best do you know somewhere we can?
